Become a part of the festival
The Cultural Carnival has 2 stages, a children's area and a Carnival train as well as a large party area with food and craft market, corporate and engagement plazas and large areas for acoustic performances and spontaneous jams. The carnival train has about 10,000 spectators and the party area about 8,000 visitors every year with a great diversity of visitors, ages, backgrounds and cultures (thanks in large part to the great diversity of programs and markets). The event is free of charge for visitors, which enables even more people to visit us and share everything there is to experience.
Participation in the stage program is free, but there is an additional cost (see price list ) for those exhibiting in the market as well as the company and engagement square. Why should you participate in the Cultural Carnival? You get the chance to showcase your craft, art form or business to about 8,000 visitors and there are good chances that you reach a whole new audience and clientele! You also get the chance to network with others with the same interest and make new contacts. Maybe this is also the perfect opportunity to launch a new product, association or show for a happy audience with free entry?

Emelie tells us
What did you get out of participating in the festival?
We always return to the festival as it is such a lovely atmosphere among visitors as well as organizers and exhibitors that we are happy to be a part of. We also have the opportunity to talk to many interesting people about voluntary engagement and inspire others to take the step to get involved.
Do you have any tips?
Come with a lot of energy and some fun activity for the visitors so you are guaranteed a fun and rewarding weekend!
- Emelie, participated in the engagement square with the association Volunteer Agency Uppsala.
